VitalPAC is a clinical system that uses PDAs and other mobile devices to improve patient safety and quality of care.

Our state-of-the-art software records, stores, and analyses vital signs data, enabling clinicians to monitor the condition of their patients in real time throughout a hospital stay.

Nurses enter vital signs data by the bedside into PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants – compact handheld computers). This data is then transferred to a central server, making it accessible to clinicians anywhere in the hospital.

By performing real-time analysis of haematology, biochemistry and physiology data, VitalPAC can quickly identify deteriorating patients and advise if further escalation is appropriate – for example to a consultant or the critical care outreach team.
